The Solhem Cabin

Solhem is from the 1920s and really has character. It has been a real pleasure to renovate this house and bring out the beauty and make it homely. The kitchen from the 50s has been allowed to remain even though it is not quite at a height for today's tall people or has self-closing drawers. We don't regret it for a second. Instead, we have installed an induction hob and convection oven and a new fridge with freezer.

There is also a new coffee maker, kettle, microwave and toaster. Porcelain and glass, on the other hand, are beloved flea market finds. 

The wooden floors are newly sanded in most rooms, there is a new shower cabin, TV (50 inches), Chromecast, Wi-Fi and more.

When we renovated one of the bedrooms, we found a beautiful wooden floor under the laminate floor as well as pearl rafters and an old original door in turquoise color under the wallboards. It's wonderful details that give the house character! The bed is 180 cm wide.

In the largest bedroom, which is also upstairs, there is a double bed of 160 cm and two single beds that are 90 cm wide. The room is bright and nice, and quite large (4 x 5 metres).
