Classic cabin&nbsp;The cabin may look small when you first arrive, but opens up to a spacious kitchen and living room as soon as you cross the doorstep. The house has undergone extensive renovations in recent years with wood paneling and a cozy interior.&nbsp; Room for eightThe well-planned cabin has beds both upstairs and downstairs, and the five beds can accommodate eight guests. With the generous kitchen, living room and terrace, two families can comfortably share the space.

The holiday home is newly built with 55 sqm and has a lovely space with double ceiling height in the combined living room and kitchen. There is a double bedroom, a loft with two single beds and one extra bed. The smal pool maintains 39 degrees all year round. The bath does not have bubbles but a relaxing lighting. You have the pool all to yourself on the patio deck outside the cottage. It's a shelter wall around the pool to make it more protected and provide a cozier atmosphere. The garden is shared with the host couple, but the cottage and terrace are located so that there is minimal visibility between the house and the cottage. In the garden there are coffee tables, jumping stands and swings free to use for guests. The bathing place in Lake Färingen is 1 km away. This bathing place is located at the edge of the forest and has both a small sandy beach and rocks. The cottage is located in the corner of our garden with lush views of Lake Färingen. It's a reed area with rich bird life.

Welcome to The Nordby Cabin, a charming villa, carefully renovated in 2024 to offer a comfortable and homely atmosphere. Every detail has been thoughtfully selected, from flea market finds to modern conveniences, to create a unique and inviting environment. Traffic can be a bit disturbing when Nordby Shopping Center is open, as many visitors take this road on their way to Strömstad. Check-in: To make your stay as smooth as possible, you will receive detailed check-in instructions well in advance of your arrival. You can check in anytime after 3 PM on the day of arrival, and you don't need to wait for us—you can enter the house yourself. Cleaning: The house is designed to be easy to clean, and we have a robot vacuum cleaner to help you keep it tidy during your stay. We kindly ask that you clean up before leaving the house, so the next guests can enjoy a fresh and pleasant environment. Beds: On the upper floor, there are three tastefully decorated bedrooms with beautiful wooden floors and high-quality beds. You will find two double beds and two single beds, along with ample storage space for your personal belongings. Each room is designed to make you feel at home. TV and Wi-Fi: There are TVs both upstairs and downstairs with Chromecast, so you can watch your favorite programs. Of course, free Wi-Fi is available.

Solhem is from the 1920s and really has character. It has been a real pleasure to renovate this house and bring out the beauty and make it homely. The kitchen from the 50s has been allowed to remain even though it is not quite at a height for today's tall people or has self-closing drawers. We don't regret it for a second. Instead, we have installed an induction hob and convection oven and a new fridge with freezer. There is also a new coffee maker, kettle, microwave and toaster. Porcelain and glass, on the other hand, are beloved flea market finds.&nbsp; The wooden floors are newly sanded in most rooms, there is a new shower cabin, TV (50 inches), Chromecast, Wi-Fi and more. When we renovated one of the bedrooms, we found a beautiful wooden floor under the laminate floor as well as pearl rafters and an old original door in turquoise color under the wallboards. It's wonderful details that give the house character! The bed is 180 cm wide. In the largest bedroom, which is also upstairs, there is a double bed of 160 cm and two single beds that are 90 cm wide. The room is bright and nice, and quite large (4 x 5 metres).
