Stay in a Circa 1900, fully renovated and re-juvenated townhouse. <h3>The space</h3> This restored townhouse retains all the features of the era, with stained timber stairs (yes they are a bit steep but that's the way they built them over 100 years ago), ceiling roses, fireplaces with mantles, sash windows and the most superb polished floorboards you will find. The rear kitchen and conveniences have recently been re-built to add a touch of modern practicality without losing the overall charm of this wonderful building. BeddingThere are 2 bedrooms, both with queen size beds. All linen and towels are provided. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge room and a port-a-cot available upon request. Please let us know if you require either of these items prior to your stay. Linen for the sofa bed is NOT provided unless requested prior to your stay. <h3>Guest access</h3> The townhouse is fitted with an Electronic Lock so there are no keys to worry about. It is activated by placing your palm over the keypad to light up the numbers. Enter your provided PIN, press the unlock icon and turn the knob to enter. Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally located apartment. Just a few minutes walk to the centre of Hobart. The space is light and bright with wonderful sash windows, mantle pieces, polished floor board, a well appointed kitchen and modern bathroom. There are just 2 apartments in this building. Both with separate access and individual privacy. A very stylish property that offers a very comfortable stay. It is located in the CBD, so there is road noise especially at morning peak hour. <h3>Other things to note</h3> ParkingPlease note there is FREE parking spot in the adjacent car park from Wednesday through to Sunday (not Monday and Tuesdays). There is on-street free parking in the area but not on Macquarie Street weekdays from 6AM until 9AM. At other times there are 1 and 2 hour parking limits in the area.
